It is time to get to know the candidates. Host Kris Halterman will interview four candidates for the 2020 General Election: Jeff McClure, incumbent candidate for Whatcom County PUD No. 1, Jeffrey Beeler, 1st Congressional District, Russ Dzialo, Washington State Rep. 40th Dist. Pos. 2, and Chuck Carrell, Washington State Senator, Dist. 40; to give them, and you, the opportunity to share who they are, why they're running, and how they plan to make their community/state better for everyone.

Host Kris Halterman interviews Lt. Claudia Murphy, Public Information Officer for the Bellingham Police Department; Bill Elfo, Whatcom County Sheriff; Hans Erchinger-Davis, Exec. Director of the Lighthouse Mission Ministries. Kris will be discussing the recently disrupted and cleared out encampment from Downtown Bellingham, which had grown from a few to hundreds of homeless, displaced, and a criminal element that expanded throughout Bellingham City Hall, the Bellingham/Whatcom County Library, and the Whatcom County Courthouse.

Host Vince Buys interviews Todd Myers, Director for the Center for the Environment for the Washington Policy Center, during part one of the program. Part two of the program Vince interviews Charlie Crabtree, of The Fourth Corner and Senator Doug Ericksen about Washington State's education funding. After McCleary and after Washington School Districts gave double digit increases to their schools and teachers; where will the shortfall in funding come from this year? Tax increases?
