COB_Wetlands_MapOn the Show Today:   Whatcom County Planning Commissioner Dave Onkels; San Juan County Environmental Consultant Ed Kilduff; Sudden Valley Community Member and Realtor Chris Weitzel.

Today’s discussion will focus on what is a Critical Areas Ordinance (CAO) and how do they affect property rights?  Later in the show we will have a discussion with Chris Weitzel for further discussion of the implementation of the DOE’s  SWMP/BMP program.  Good science or bad science?  Will it address the issue?  Is there really a problem?

Ater today’s show WC Planning Commissioner Dave Onkels and Sudden Valley Community Member Chris Weitzel joined me to complete our conversation on the proposed Stormwater Management Program (SWMP) and Best Management Practices (BMP) for the Lake Whatcom Watershed properties.  Please feel free to share the audio files I have posted here with your contact list of friends and family.  The more everyone understands Whatcom County water issues, how they affect everyone now and in the future, will be a huge factor in how we address this issue and protect personal property rights from bad science and overt regulations.
