Primary Voter Confusion at All-time High

your-vote_002Have you opened up your primary ballot yet? If not, you need to…because there are a lot of choices, a lot of unknown candidates, and the primary will choose the top-two candidates from the primary election, who will move forward to this years general election.

Last week I reached out to a number of liberty-loving, smaller-government, pro-business, individuals and this is how that discussion penciled out on the primary ballot. The top criteria was that they are qualified to hold the position and that they are the best candidate for the previously mentioned ideals:

Attorney General – Joshua Trumbull

Commissioner of Public Lands – Steve McLaughlin

Superintendent of Public Instruction – Ron Higgins

Insurance Commissioner – Justin Murta

State Senator District 40 – Daniel Miller

State Representative District 42 Position 1 – Luanne VanWerven
