Water Resource Planning: Past, Present, and Future

Focus: What are the major issues with water supplies and uses in Whatcom County?
What would a comprehensive and reasonable solution look like?
Format: Each speaker will have ten minutes for their remarks. The sponsor will submit up to three identical questions to each speaker at least ten days in advance, to be responded to in their remarks. At about 11.00 am, there will be a moderated Q & A session with the audience. Questions will be limited to one minute per person; answers to three minutes per speaker.

- Citizens’ Alliance for Property Rights: Roger Almskaar, President
Future forums during 2014 will include agencies and local interest groups concerned with water issues, including small cities, water districts, and other governments, water associations, private well owners, environmental, rural land owners, and a discussion of options for sensible and effective solutions.
