Host Kris Halterman interviews Kristi Coy and Cindy Berry, co-founders of Privacy First – Keep Out of My Home, on the 4th Amendment violations that will occur due to the current draft of the Bellingham’s, Rental Registration (Landlord Licensing and Inspection) ordinance.
The 4th Amendment says: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. 4th Amendment Law
Today’s discussion will center on the violation of an unprotected class of people just because they rent and do not own their home.
