Too often local School Bond issues do not receive this type of scrutiny in local media, which is why I believe it is important that I share this email with you. It personifies that our children’s lives are lived in schools where parents want local control and values that mirror their family culture. So whether that school is public, private or in our homes, it’s of greater concern what happens inside the school and the spiritual wholesomeness that is baked inside, than how attractive the building our future leaders are taught in.
Education is a critical element to a free society. It is the tool with which we develop an independent, responsible and moral society. It’s not what the outside looks like that makes a home, a school, a business or a community a great place to live. Just as it is what’s inside that makes the person, the same can be said for where we live, work, play and yes…how we educate our children.

Buildings Last Priority
Schools claim they fail because of the culture. However, schools have actually created the culture. School officials claim parents are not preparing their children. However, it has been statist schools’ coercion, fashioning our culture over successive generations. What schools may say their mission is to correct, they have themselves produced.
Schools claim to be neutral, however ALL education has religious implications. Schools teach a religion while failing to identify it as such. Schools have created our post-Christian relativist culture. Progressive, Marxist, atheist, humanists centered education about a century ago, pushing education toward a Soviet model of science and technology, ignoring the heart, soul and eternity. Modern education is the religion of atheism and drove God from the schools. To their surprise we see spiritual devastation, as well as faltering academics. If God exists, He is the source of all knowledge and created everything we discover through human inquiry. If there is no God, man is dead; man has no soul. Government atheistic schools teach children they are accidents of chance, rather than created in the image of God, known to Him before the beginning of time.
Most teachers are not responsible but have been transformed by the system. They have become propagandists for the government statist creed in an atheistic seminary. Teachers do not recognize the philosophy to which they adhere and how their own philosophy and worldview has been affected. Even those with the best of intentions will be corrupted by a system which is corrupt.
When parents dare to participate in school decisions and the electorate passes charter schools (WA state), or you vote for school choice or vouchers (Utah), your statist school system sues (Randy Dorn) with your tax dollars and the NEA will fight against you with millions in teacher dues (paid with your tax dollars).
Rather than continue promoting a secular humanist education system as the only permissible point of view and making buildings THE priority, wouldn’t it be wonderful if our local district could face the real failure of government schools, stand for true academic freedom, confess the source of all knowledge and the eternal soul of every student.
